Q: Where are the Women? A: Nevada and L.A.

The number of women-owned businesses grew by 20% between 1997 and 2002 according to a a press release issued by the Census Bureau today. The report also found that there were 117,069 women-owned companies (as of 2002) that exceeded $1 million in revenue. And there were a million women-owned businesses in health and social services, the single biggest industry category. The states that recorded the biggest increase in women entrepreneurship were Nevada, Georgia, Florida and New York; Los Angeles, Chicago, and Miami led the way among cities.






Why divide humans in men and women? Aren't we all humans?
